who says we might actually come up with some ways to improve our city.

Born and raised in Louisville Kentucky, means my roots are in this state. 35 years ago, I was blessed to marry the best of Maysville - Mary Breslin. We would "come home" as often as possible as my career took us to many destinations. Lexington, Owensboro, Cleveland and Cincinnati. We moved to downtown Maysville 10 years ago and this is where we will stay. This city is full of GREAT people. I come in contact with many people that either have visited, have family or friends that live here or have heard wonderful things about our city. That is why I want to pursue this opportunity. The base of our city is rock solid, we can make it better. What do I bring to the table? 30 years in corporate management. I have built districts all over the country. I know what it means to form a team - provide vision and purpose - construct a plan and then implement it. Western KY had not performed up to par for 15 years, it did in my first year there as DM. Northern Ohio had suffered for 5 years, it met its objectives in my first year there too.
I was a Senior Instructor in a National Training Center and wrote management training programs. I led over 400 employees in Texas and New Mexico as a Regional VP and officer of a company. I also directed Indiana, Ohio and Michigan for one of the largest USA insurers. I earned Key Manager/Manager of the year at both companies. I know what it is to have to make tough calls, and have the buck stop at my desk. I also operated my own business for 12 years with $2M in sales annually. I don't believe there is any better background from any other candidate in this election. You just need to check the box next to my name. I believe in spending money wisely, and no more than is needed....ask my wife! I will treat the city's money with respect, because it was hard earned, by you. VOTE FOR NEW BLOOD -- not the same ones you have had for years !
Some important things....I think
I know you must have things on your mind about what is happening in Maysville. It's more important to me to address those things than to dwell on mine. For a long time ( at least my 10 years here) it seems that the Commission talks about things that is on THEIR minds....but are they items that you want ? That is what I want to do......get information from YOU and then take that to the table. I cannot guarantee that every issue will go exactly as we ask for it - but I CAN say that I will bring it up and see how far we can go.

As I have talked to a LOT of you over the past few years, the one message that I got from you while on your doorsteps, or in Kroger, or in a restaurant is....."We need change in Maysville." That is what I am trying to do !
If we keep voting the SAME people in -- we will keep getting the same results. " You have a great opportunity this time because there will be 12 names on the ballot in the Primary election. The top 8 will move on to the general election. The more NEW names you move over to the general election - the greater chance you have of getting the change that you want ! As my background speaks - I can work with anybody. I have had the opportunity to do that many times - build teams - work together - seek solutions - then execute the ideas. Has that been what you have been seeing ? Do you feel the issues that come before the Commission are getting adequate discussion and vetting? It's easy to say "Aye" and move it forward.

I have been asked by several..."Now that you are running, what favors do YOU want to get done?"
Folks, I DONT HAVE ANY PERSONAL AGENDA. I'm not doing this to get the City's health plan - as I think there may have been some that did that. I have my own plan and I am fine with it. I just want to enter public servcie as I have had 50 years in the corporate world. Loved every minute of it, but it's time to serve my city. My wife is an excellent School teacher - for 10 years here in Maysville - probably taught your children or grandchildren along the way. She will continue to be an advocate for this city - so you get a 2 for 1 !
